ABOUT THE COMPANY

A digital development company who wants to partner with UI designers and design agencies. Muneebah Studio collaborated with Josh Lopez to create #0F, a brand for the big thinking creatives, with even bigger ideas.

How do you create a brand for a digital development agency that stands out and attracts ambitious UI designers with the highest standards?

UNIQUE SOLUTIONS

To capture the duality between designers and developers, we used the metaphor of black and white, reflecting their analytical and creative approaches. The brand name, inspired by digital colour codes, resonates with designers fluent in coding. An explosion of colour symbolises their innovative collaboration, while the minimalist logo, broken into geometric forms, speaks to the agency's target audience.

Beyond the visual identity, we also uncovered an unexpected revenue opportunity. Through our in-depth brand strategy session, we identified speciality coffee as a potential side stream for #0F. Despite being a digital development company, their customer base values craftsmanship, making artisan coffee a seamless fit with the brand's ethos and high-quality focus, enhancing the overall brand experience.

Naming, Logo & Brand Identity

Designers and developers have different thought processes, one is very analytical & literal and the other creative & lateral.

To represent this duality of opposite skill sets we played on the metaphor of black and white. The name is a shortened version of the colour codes for black (#000000) and white (#fffffff) used in digital design. This directly appealed to the audience of digital designers who understand the language of code.

When they collaborate they forge some of the most innovative creations together which is represented by the explosion of colour.

The logo is aimed at these minimalist designers, breaking the word into it’s simple geometric forms; which is a code in itself, and much more interesting than the regular < / > : )
